Seeing the Ayons! I know I look like a homeless man, but it is super hot here. Like I didnt understand what being hot meant until being here. I wasted all my "ding, ding, ding"s because now is when I really need help getting cooled down. And you will be happy to know I am learning to be a nicer person when I am hot and also when I am hungry. And sometimes both.

This is the only picture I have with my companion so far. She is the one on my right.

I am second from left and I am proud of my tan.

Welcome to Mesa. Where if the scorpions dont kill you the temperature will.

We hiked to the top of a mountain this morning at 5. Its ugly here and not worth the view. Not all of our zone went either because they are chickens.

Going away party because we are both moving out. This was my room. My new zone is the same as the senior missionaries I used to live with. Small world.

Every other house in our area has this little sign. They think it makes us believe they are rock solid in their religion and there is no use knocking but it actually helps us identify which houses are Hispanics and is a time saver. Go figure.
Happy birthday to a less active! We had carne asada and then they almost pushed me in the pool as a joke. I am glad my companion saved me because satan would of drowned me for sure. And do I or do I not fit right into this picture? The older ladies in this picture told me how there grandchildren dont know spanish and how they are so impressed that I am learning it. Then they continued to compliment me and I started thinking I was good and then I couldnt understand anything else they where talking about. Heavenly Father is good at that whole humbling thing.

This is at almost 8 p.m. There is not a single ray of sun and it it hotter then five foxes fighting a forest fire.

Some random canal by our house. We had to walk our bikes home with the fourth flat tire we have had in six weeks and so I went a little crazy. Luckily there is a bike shop we found that fixes them for free! My first flat I went to a members shop and he gave me a ten percent discount, this other guy isnt even a member and he charges nothing! He says "Your out there in the heat, working for God and getting your conversions and what not." He's really great. He tells us to send all the other missionaries too.
